Why the PanaCast2 video camera is a must for any business

Why buy a camera at all?

The simple facts are that businesses and organisations spend a fortune traveling around the country or the world visiting clients and potential clients.  The impact of this is threefold.

Firstly, the impact of time.  Only you know your figures, but it is a lot.  If you work for a company employing hundreds, or thousands of people then your cost could run into millions of hours in lost time, increased stress and unproductive hours.  Let’s be conservative and say that on average by having 60% of your meetings online you could save 10% of time for each member of staff that you employ.  What is the benefit of time saved for your business?

Secondly, is the cost.  Again only you know what you are spending in fuel, train fares and on air travel.  And only you know what saving 60% of that budget would look like?

Thirdly, is the impact on the environment.  We all know that the human race needs to change and reduce it emissions and it’s impact on the world.  Again a 60% reduction would be a great start!

Last, but by no means least is the impact that travel has on your team.  Stress, fatigue, being away from home, divorce and poor health are just some of the problems created by constant travel.

Why the PanaCast2 video camera?

Like most technology the video camera has evolved.  I am sure you remember using webcams, getting your head cut off the picture, not being able to hear the people you are talking to and having really poor lighting, so you can’t really see the other person.  Then there is the problem of more than two people in the meeting.  This is where you end up all crowded round the camera trying to get in the picture, so that others can see you.

The PanaCast 2 solves all that!  The quality of the camera and, more importantly, the picture is second to none.  The quality of the sound again is fantastic and because the PanaCast 2 is actually three camera’s stitched together, it has a 180 degree view, so everyone can be in shot.  The PanaCast 2 also have some great software including ‘intelligent zoom’ and ‘whiteboard’ technologies.  Intelligent zoom enable the camera to zoom in according to how many people are in the room and the whiteboard feature enables you to use a normal whiteboard and to have it displayed and used on the screen in your meeting so everyone in the meeting can see it as you write on it.

Your professional image

The image your company portrays is, of course, very important and the way you manage that image is essential.  Running professional online meetings both internally and externally is an important part of that image.

The PanaCast2 will help you, your team and your company to position yourselves as being ‘cutting edge’ and being ‘head and shoulders’ ahead of your competitors, in terms of the technology you use.
