PanaCast Vivid High Dynamic Range (HDR) Solution

PanaCast Vivid automatically optimises luminance to enhance the viewing experience for the PanaCast 2 – the world’s first 180° Panoramic-4K Plug-and-Play Intelligent Camera System.

PanaCast Vivid is a newly-developed real-time HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology which is a fully integrated high-performance engine running in the PanaCast Video Processor.  It automatically and continuously improves video quality under varying light conditions to enhance participants’ collaboration experience.

PanaCast Vivid is built with a patented biomimetic signal processing algorithm which enables the camera system to mimic how the human eye handles the wide differences in luminance encountered in the real world by autonomously optimising video quality in any lighting condition.

It is particularly useful in environments with a high variation or dynamic range in luminance as it automatically adjusts it to deliver an optimised video stream for any video conferencing environment.   PanaCast Vivid autonomously enhances contrast, displays realistic colours, shows details even in dark areas and delivers a video stream that mimics how the eye naturally perceives light.

PanaCast Vivid is available for a one-time, perpetual license cost of £120.00 (€ 136.00/US$149.00) excluding VAT per camera.

It is compatible with all other industry-first PanaCast Intelligent Vision products, such as Intelligent Zoom, which enables the camera to automatically zoom in and out to include all participants in the room and Whiteboard, which detects whiteboards of any size and displays their content as shareable content within the video conference.

"More than 1000 organisations in 36 countries are using PanaCast 2 daily to improve their communication and productivity.

Over 130 universities are now adopting the PanaCast 2 for lecture capture and huddle room deployments."

What our clients say!

  • “(PanaCast 2) is a very different form factor than the usual 1080p camera that we are using elsewhere in the lab. You can see it has no seams and it’s a very good picture quality.”

  • “PanaCast…actually seems like something that would be both fun and exceedingly useful.”

    Michael
    SeoWriter / TechCrunch

  • “The actual image captured by the camera when we tried it in a lecture theatre (300+ seat) was perfect. Every seat in the frame, handled the lighting conditions well, good focus, seamlessly stitched. Very impressed.”

    Geoff Lambert

  • “… a great improvement over standard video chat experiences.” Read article

    Michael Gorman
    Editor-in-Chief / Engadget

  • “The panoramic view allowed me to see all five remote participants at the same time, and the 4k resolution provided great visual detail – allowing me to feel ‘connected’ to everyone in the meeting.”

What Ira M. Weinstein thinks about the PanaCast 2
Senior Analyst & Partner / Wainhouse Research

  • “We chose the PanaCast 2 video camera because it gives an immersive sense of participation to remote meeting participants. With PanaCast 2, there is no need to squeeze together to get into the scene or waste time panning and zooming like with a typical conference room camera.”
